This conditioning video includes over 15 exercises for a full body conditioning workout using the pole. Some examples of what’s included are pull ups on the pole to help you with inversions, abdominal exercises for moves like shoulder mounting, and modified push ups to help counteract the stress of handsprings on the body. Exercises are modified for all skill levels, so even beginners can do them. We will show you how to do each exercise, plus give you an example of how these exercises can help you in different areas of your pole work.

Amy Guion is a classically trained dancer and has been pole dancing since 2007. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor of science in natural science, a program which emphasized anatomy, kinesiology, exercise science, and nutrition. Her background in dance and science led her to create these videos, a series which she hopes will increase every pole dancer’s strength and flexibility and assist in injury prevention and recovery.
Leigh Ann Orsi is a United States Pole Federation Pro and won second place in the 2009 West Coast Regional competition. Leigh Ann is a Southern California native who grew up on the stages of Hollywood as a child actress. She’s always been an athlete and has competed in springboard diving, track, and kickboxing. She brings her background in entertainment, acrobatics, and martial arts to the pole room. Leigh Ann has been pole dancing since 2000.
