We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight and size based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
We do not charge sales tax on order that are shipped outside the United States. Due to this customs charges and/or local taxes may apply in your chosen country. The Pole Dancing Shop and their affiliates/partners are not responsible for these in any way, and they will be at your expense. As we have a large catalogue of items, it is not practical for us to carry/stock all items, especially those available in more than one size or color. For example our shoe line alone would account for over 2,400 possible combinations! As such many items are order directly with our manufacturer or supplier(s) upon receiving a customer order and we usually receive our stock within 3 to 5 business days. You should allow the following estimated times for shipping of your package once we have received stock from our supplier(s).
X-Poles (in all regions) - 5 to 7 postal days from purchase date
United States - 3 to 5 postal days
Rest of the World - USPS Priority International 1-2 weeks, USPS First-Class International 2-4 weeks.
Please note, the day you place your order will also have an effect on shipment time as most postal carriers only operate Monday to Friday. Once shipped most items are received in the time frames listed above. However, please understand that The Pole Dancing Shop can not control the postal services and/or Customs. We can only quote you what they quote. Sometimes their maybe postal delays or your package may be stopped at Customs, this is out of our control.
USPS Priority International and FedEx includes shipping insurance and tracking. USPS Priority Domestic and First-Class Mail do not include insurance or tracking. FedEx provides a default $100 insurance. USPS Priority International only provide part insurance. The Pole Dancing Shop is not responsible for uninsured packages that are lost/stolen/damaged. Please make sure you have read and understood our Shipping & Returns Policy. All X-Poles are shipped via FedEx (Ground) or a similar courier in your region. For LOST parcels you must wait 30 days for domestic and 45 days for International. Lost claims for shipments sent to Italy require a 60 day wait before filing. Damage claims can be filed immediately.
Credit card payments that do not have matching Billing and Shipping details or are deemed unusual may be subject to manual verification. This process usually takes 2-3 business days and we usually will need to speak with you in person over the phone.
All prices on the site are listed in USD by default. On the product page in the right hand column is a Currency Converter. This allows you to give an 'estimated' cost in various currencies. Please be aware that this is an indicative cost only. Exchange rates are based on the wholesale rates and NOT the bank buy/sell rates. Also, please note that your bank may charge you international conversion fees and/or other fees when processing your transaction. You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full store credit or a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
Store credits are given within 5 days of receiving the returned item. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
We do accept returns on unopen boxes only (because we can re-sell the item) and also on manufacture defects. On defects we offer part replacements. Refunds on X-Poles are minus the shipping costs (US - $30, UK - £10.22, Canada - US$60, Australia - AU$50) and you will also be responsible for the shipping back to the warehouse.
We believe in the quality of our products, and we stand behind it every step of the way. To this end, we will accommodate any reasonable request, but please keep in mind that shoes (especially dancing shoes!) do wear out, and that we are not able to accept any worn out item for exchange or refund. We do not accept returns after you dance in them for an hour and the sole becomes scratched, as we can not resell these items. If they do not fit, send them back before you dance in them. All unworn defective items will be gladly repaired or replaced with the same size/color/style only - free of charge. Items that have been worn for a long time may require additional costs. Please don’t send us old shoes that are clearly beyond repair!
No clothing item that is damaged, soiled or worn will be accepted for refund or exchange.
Due to health reasons, any underwear that has been removed from the packaging can not be returned.
For obvious reasons, no special/custom order can be returned for refund or exchange.
Customers will be responsible for both way shipping and handling charges, as well as 10% re-stocking fee for all refused returned shipments.
We consider ourselves to be very felixble when it comes to our customer's returns, compared to our competition. In most exchanges we will not charge any re-stocking and re-shipping as we want our customer to be completely satisfied with their order, return to The Pole Dancing Shop again in the future; and refer us to their friends as the friendliest and easiest place to purchase Pole Dancing apparel and related items!
Note: Return shipping is non-refundable, however, we do not charge reshipping on exchanges as mentioned above.
