We are proud to present the debut the website and quarterly high quality glossy print publication of the International Pole Dance Fitness & Lifestyle Magazine(SM), Pole Spin™ Magazine, the first of its kind for the pole fitness industry.
All pole fitness enthusiasts are more than welcome to submit images, ideas, stories for publishing in print and polespinmag.com website.
In celebration of its launch, the first issue will be available freely to everyone in October 2010 just in time to help celebrate the inaugural event of the American Pole Fitness Championships of which Pole Spin Magazine is a proud sponsor. Pole fitness studios worldwide are welcome to contact us immediately to reserve a complimentary issue to be mailed out to their locations as soon as the premiere issue debuts in October 2010. Some of the studios will have it in bulk readily available to distribute to their clients.
Paid subscriptions and single copy sale issues will start February 2011. In the February 2011/winter issue, you can expect behind the scenes coverage from the championships, highlights on pole fitness expert’s careers, coverage on other major international championships in pole fitness, and so much more!

The first annual American Pole Fitness Championships™ is hosted by Olympic gold medalist Maurice Greene and the event’s master of ceremony, New York’s very own comedian Mona Cooper. The event has been billed as the biggest night in pole fitness in American history and will commence at 6.30pm on 23rd of October, 2010 at the prominent Grand Ballroom Theater, Manhattan Center, strategically located in the prestigious neighborhood of 34th Street and 8th Avenue, right in the heart of New York City one block from the Madison Square Garden. Red carpet, door opens at 5pm with the Best Dressed of the evening to be awarded an exclusive cover page by the event’s sponsor publication, Pole Spin Magazine.
Men & women will compete for the coveted historical American Pole Fitness Champion™ title in their respective genders. Also to be awarded are APFA’s trademarked title Pole Artist of the Year™ and Pole Athlete of the Year™, both awarded to any gender categories.
An array of international top acts are expected to perform including the 2-time Guinness World Record holder Dominic Lacasse and other top secret surprises to be revealed at the championships. As part of APFA’s ongoing effort to help educate the nation and beyond about the art of pole fitness as a respectable form of sport, it will help organize workshops with the winners who will be more than willing to teach you some of their trademarked pole moves. Male and female winners of the championships will be on hand for a meet and greet session and to teach some of their trademark pole moves at several of the planned workshops scheduled to take place October 25, 2010 in New York City. This is a chance for pole enthusiast to learn from the best in pole fitness. Details for that will be posted on APFA’s website by mid August so sign up on their newsletter for updates on that.
