On the 29th May the inaugural Miss Pole Fitness Switzerland was held. The judging was based over 2 rounds consisting of performances of no more than 5 minutes for the first. In the first round Dancers/Athletes were judged on the aspects of technique, acrobatics/tricks, charisma, style, dance/choreography and amusement. The second round saw the performers appear in evening gowns and were interviewed and tested on 'common' knowledge and personality.
Finals
The finals exist of 2 rounds; the first part will contain the contestants` performances of max 5 minutes. The participants will be judged on Technique, Acrobatics, Charisma, Style, Dance and Amusement. The second round involves an appearance in elegant evening gown where the contestants will be interviewed and tested on common knowledge. The participants will be judged on personality/presence amongst others.

We are interested in how you feel about the categories for judgement in the first round, and more-so how you feel about the interview, knowledge and personality test? Is this best left in the beauty pageants? Should the ambassadors for pole be intelligent as well as skilled on the pole? Does a winning poler have to look good in a dress as well as on the pole, or should they just keep to the pole dancing clothes and pole dancing bikinis? Leave us your comments below...
