The Pole Dancing Shop

What a night! What a show! What amazing talent!! Our very own Miss Savvy Wentastic should be very proud of her production of the 2012 Miss Pole South Australia competition on Thursday August 11 at the Higher Ground. Ditto to the terrific Terri Roberts who compered the evening.

Savvy began the evening with a wonderful display of double pole with fellow pole dancer, Miss Jezebella. Hot on their tails came a spectacular performance by Minxy - winner of Miss Pole Intermediate South Australia. Thus the stage was set for superb polertainment, and a high benchmark for the performers to follow. The audience were treated to a wonderful selection of pole dancers - culminating in the winning performance of world class pole dancer, Miss Carlie Hunter of the Pole Boutique. In her acceptance speech, Carlie quite rightly pointed out that with so many studios now in South Australia - there are so many opportunities for dancers to explore and develop different pole styles.

But the night was not just about the fabulous competitors! The crowd roared at the delicious Miss Silla Black, who never fails to delight with her sultry burlesque. Then, when we thought there couldn't possibly be any more.... We were dazzled by the world famous Allegra King! (I am so in awe of the ladies who showed off their expertise at performing the move made famous by the lady herself!) Time was even set aside for yours truly to promote the very ambitious 'Pink Poles Across Australia' to raise money for women's cancer research by pole dancing - coming to a studio near you.

All in all, it was a top night of entertainment, supported by all the pole studios, instructors, students, enthusiasts and sponsors. Wishing all the very best to all the girls, and to Carlie who will represent our fine state in NSW at Miss Pole Dance Australia in November.
